These extensions thread into the bottom of a 1.25" eyepiece barrel and extend it 26mm. Great when using Parfocalizing rings as the eyepiece barrel is sometimes too short to place the ring where it is needed, and normal slip fit extensions won't work.
Many refractor type scopes run into a problem when using a camera. They don't have enough "in focus" to use a camera with the diagonal in place and they don't have enough "out focus" with the diagonal removed. The solution is to replace the diagonal with an extension having a bit less optical length.
